School Meals
at St John’s Catholic Infant School
All infant children are now provided with a free school meal. We use Edsential Catering Services as our school meal provider. The children will choose from the menu each day. Our school menu runs on a three-week cycle and can be downloaded below.
School meals are cooked on the premises and there is at present a four-week cycle of menus. All children eat in the school hall and are supervised by a team of mid-day assistants.
Packed Lunches
We would encourage all children to take up the free school meals but you may still choose to bring a packed lunch.
Parents are requested to make every effort to ensure that the contents of lunch boxes provide a balanced diet with healthy extras such as fruit and vegetables.
Lunch boxes should not contain sweets and chocolate bars. (one small “lunch box type” snack bar is permitted) For ideas check out: www.food.gov.uk
