at St John’s Catholic Infant School

We believe that all children should be given the opportunity to grow into great mathematicians! The school uses a variety of teaching and learning styles in mathematics. Our principal aim is to develop children’s knowledge, skills and understanding. We plan for and provide meaningful experiences and ensure appropriate resources are available to support their learning. During our daily lessons, we encourage children to ask as well as answer mathematical questions.
